The Role

We’re building our e-commerce operations capability from the ground up and need someone who can hit the ground running. You’ll be the go-to expert managing multiple online stores across Shopify and/or EasyStore platforms, setting up sophisticated marketing automation in Klaviyo, and driving continuous improvements that actually move the needle on sales and conversions.

This isn’t a “manage product listings” role. We need someone who understands the full e-commerce stack, can troubleshoot technical issues, migrate platforms without drama, and work seamlessly with our digital media team to turn campaigns into revenue.


What You’ll Actually Be Doing

E-commerce Platform Management & Optimization

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Abaro site and multiple client stores on Shopify and/or EasyStore
  • Implement theme customizations, app integrations, and workflow improvements (no-code/low-code preferred, but comfortable with basic HTML/CSS)
  • Conduct regular site audits for performance, UX, and conversion optimization
  • Monitor and improve core e-commerce metrics (CVR, AOV, bounce rate, site speed)
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with developers when needed

Platform Migrations & Client Onboarding

  • Lead client site migrations between platforms (Shopify ↔ EasyStore, or from other platforms like WooCommerce, Magento, etc.)
  • Create migration playbooks to standardize processes and minimize downtime
  • Manage project timelines, client expectations, and post-migration support
  • Evaluate which platform (Shopify vs EasyStore) best fits client needs and budgets

Klaviyo & Marketing Automation

  • Build and optimize email flows (welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back)
  • Create advanced segmentation strategies based on customer behavior and purchase data
  • Design, test, and analyze email campaign performance
  • Integrate Klaviyo with e-commerce platforms and other marketing tools for seamless data flow

CRM, Loyalty & Retention Programs

  • Set up and manage loyalty program platforms (Yotpo, Smile.io, EasyStore loyalty features, or similar)
  • Plan and execute WhatsApp marketing campaigns via WABA or third-party tools
  • Map customer journeys and identify retention opportunities
  • Track and report on LTV, repeat purchase rate, and retention metrics

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with our digital media team to align site experience with ad campaigns
  • Provide technical guidance to ensure campaign landing pages are optimized
  • Share insights from site data to inform media buying decisions
  • Create SOPs and train team members on platform management basics

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • 2-4 years hands-on experience managing stores on Shopify OR EasyStore (or both – that’s a bonus!)
    • Not just product uploads – we’re talking theme customization, app management, optimization, and platform troubleshooting
  • Proven Klaviyo expertise – you’ve built flows, managed segmentation, and can speak to results you’ve driven
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce fundamentals and key metrics (CVR, AOV, CAC, LTV, etc.)
  • Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for troubleshooting and minor customizations
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and clients without dropping balls
  • Data-driven mindset – you make decisions based on numbers, not gut feel
  • Excellent communication skills (you’ll be client-facing)
  • Self-starter who can work independently but knows when to ask for help

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with BOTH Shopify AND EasyStore (huge plus – makes you invaluable for migration projects)
  • Platform migration experience (between Shopify, EasyStore, WooCommerce, or other platforms)
  • Experience with loyalty platforms (Yotpo, Smile.io, LoyaltyLion, or EasyStore’s native loyalty features)
  • WhatsApp Business API or CRM tool experience
  • Google Analytics/GA4 proficiency
  • Agency or multi-brand e-commerce experience
  • Experience training/upskilling team members
  • Familiarity with regional payment gateways and shipping integrations (iPay88, Sendle, Pos Laju, etc.)

What Won’t Work:

  • “I’ve used Shopify/EasyStore once or twice” – we need someone who lives and breathes this stuff
  • No marketing automation experience – Klaviyo (or similar ESP) experience is core to this role
  • Can’t manage ambiguity – you’ll be building processes, not following existing ones
  • Only content/product upload experience without technical understanding
